If you were lost in space and someone asked you –“where are you from..?” You would turn around and point at this spectacular planet and say, “I am from Earth... that planet over there.” You would most likely not say “I am from the USA; or Japan; or Australia...!”
From a distance Earth looks so beautiful and peaceful and wholesome and united and yet, as we get closer we begin to see the great divisions that have been forced on the beings that inhabit this planet. From the day we are born we are divided on so many different levels and in so many ways that we don’t even recognise our division any more.
We are divided by country, flag, province, religion, city, state, continent, what car we drive, what job we have, what school we go to, what sport we follow, brand of clothing, credit card, what beer we drink, what music we listen to, and how much money we have... the division is endless. Think about it – we live in ‘apart’-ments.
It is through this division that we allow ourselves to be manipulated and controlled beyond our wildest imagination. Without most of us realising it, the ‘divide & conquer’ principle has been successfully implemented on our planet and is being used very effectively to keep us under control and in a perpetual state of conflict.
